Im not a gaming chair owner, but the lumbar is the lower region of ur spine where its the thickest, so it supports your lumbar, ur lower spine

I have an office chair, it also has “lumbar support” (I do in fact know what my lumbar is and how to sit correctly to keep it supported however the chair does not help you do that.) anyway, your lumbar is the lower portion of your back, when you’re sitting it is supposed to be at a safe curve, but in most chairs your bum ends up sliding forward so it becomes a diagonal towards your thoracic (middle spine below neck) which often leads to the aches you’ll feel after being in a chair for too long. Hope this answers your question Jude (it’s the weird pillow on the lower portion of the chair)

i just use a criss cross chair tbh, it doesnt go under my desk so its always blocking the path next to my bed and its creaky as hell and wd-40 doesnt help, but its a good chair

Lemme explain, it’s called lumbar support due to being the lumbar part of the spine, which is the lower part like middle lower back! I believe the neck is the cervical part of the spine
