@thedogsneedourhelp: 💔My heart is so broken for Maebh. When I posted Maebh 2 weeks ago, she was pacing around her kennel & crying because she was so upset & confused. Now, she’s gotten even worse. When my friend visited her yesterday, Maebh was lying on the cold, wet concrete floor, trembling so hard… & she never once lifted her head. She just lay there completely shut down & shaking. My heart absolutely breaks for her. 💔 Maebh didn’t do anything wrong. She was surrendered after her owner lost his job, had to move, & could no longer provide the lifestyle he felt she deserved. Now she’s terrified in a loud, overcrowded shelter with no idea why she was left behind. How is this any better than the lifestyle she had before? 😭 After more than two weeks here, she has completely lost hope. Maebh is such an incredible dog & a total catch. She is housebroken, fully vetted, healthy, & cat, dog, & kid friendly. She’s almost 8 years old, but still has plenty of energy & absolutely LOVES playing tug-of-war. Her owner said she can be a little anxiety prone, but being abandoned in a chaotic shelter certainly isn’t helping her feel secure.. Maebh needs a quiet place to decompress & someone who will reassure her. She needs a soft bed, a family, & someone who will love her through the confusion until she understands that she hasn’t been abandoned again. Please don’t let this beautiful senior girl go from having a family to losing her life. The shelter is full, & she could lose her life simply for space when it’s needed. There’s no telling how long she has left. Please share Maebh. My goodness no way could I send one of my fur babies to a shelter they only give them a few days and they kill them. Sir if your reading these comments go back and get her she's beautiful and all she knows is you. Your her family thick or thin. Things do get better with time. please all my people lets work hard to find her a home.I don't know what peoples issues are over black dogs they are so beautiful and loving.please someone ADOPT her. foster repost rescue and share her on your social media and ask them to do the same to get her out there and seen.God Bless you sweetheart.Love you much Mamma.

If you are in a place where you are able to adopt or foster and you are a compassionate and loving human who can cherish MAEBH then pls find it in your heart to save this beautiful baby. She has sooo very much to offer and honestly anyone would be soo soo blessed to have MAEBH in their lives!! Remember please that black dogs have a particularly hard time being seen and are not usually adopted or saved. She needs someone pls imagine what it would be like to have no one and to be locked up away from nature and sunshine and belly rubs and a comfy bed and love 💗

I will never understand owner surrenders. Dogs are a lifetime commitment and even if her lifestyle would change because of the loss of a job, it would be better than what she is dealing with now. They only want to be with you! This is so heartbreaking.
