Exactly. 3 little girls were outside playing in my apts by themselves over the weekend. I purposely made myself a glass of wine and sat on the balcony making sure I watched them until they went inside. I enjoyed my wine and babysat strangers kids

I loved these ladies growing up. There was one who’d give us $7 buck for lunch on fridays 😭 her house was right in the bus pick up spot. J 3 of us in the neighborhood though so she wasn’t spending crazy or anything yall.

One morning before walking to school I got a whooping from my mom. omw I walked past this random lady’s house she saw me crying, stopped to console me, rubbed Vaseline on my face, gave me a bag of chips, and sent me on my merry way. She was elderly, so I can only assume she has passed. I don’t believe in God, but I hope she’s receiving the highest of blessings wherever she is
