@thefreedomfinancecoach: If you've been putting off opening a Stocks and Shares ISA because you don't really understand what it is - you're not alone. It's not a savings account. Your growth is completely tax free. You can invest up to £20,000 a year. You can access your money whenever you need it. And it is never too late to start. These are the five things every beginner investor in the UK needs to know about a Stocks and Shares ISA before they open one.
What is the best Stocks and Share ISA to open, thanks

So I opened one two years ago and put £100 every month. I have recently sold my house and plan to add a lump sum to my isa, is that the best thing to do, as I planned then to cancel the monthly amount ? Or is there a better way, by the way I am 61 and still work
