The Bible says ALL rulers are appointed by God (Romans 13:1)- it also says our fight is against them (those of darkness specifically tho) (Ephesians 6:12). Remember Jesus flipped tables- peace MAKER and peace KEEPER are very different.

This comparison does not align. All but a few kings did what was right in the sight of the Lord and David certainly did, he was flawed not corrupt.
