I put another couch in the room she’s in and sit on it all the time and the fact that it’s scratches more than her own scratcher makes me annoyed also I have another couch that I also sit on all the time but I leave her out of the room or when she wants to come in I replace the couch

It is actually bad because it forces their claws to stay out, which can cause pain or discomfort. it also stops them from scratching and doing other natural behaviours which can cause stress and cause their claws to be unable to shed properly. Just cut your cats claws guys
