Even funnier when you only ever felt bad for lifeless objects, had that a lot as a child but I cannot recall one event in my life where I genuinely felt empathy towards people, I didn’t even knew what that word meant until I was about 14 and even then I still thought I’m misunderstanding it as I don’t know it.

I feel like people make this a good thing like „I‘m just so empathetic“ „I have a soft heart“ its because of trauma probably you had to understand things that you couldn’t really as a child like your parents to pretend harm. Its not something aesthetic.
