My first job working downtown started in 2015 and the running joke was that none of us WORKING AT A BANK IN CORPORATE FINANCE could afford any of the condos and the condos were dark at night because clearly, no one was living in them. we've known this for well over a decade and it sucks that the authorities don't do a damn thing about it
