May Allah have mercy on those who have passed away, grant the wounded a speedy recovery, and give patience and strength to the families who have lost their loved ones. I respectfully appeal to the Somali people, the Federal Government of Somalia, the South West State Administration, and all concerned parties to protect the lives of civilians and soldiers and to resolve political disagreements through dialogue and peaceful means. I also respectfully call on President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud to take immediate action and personally oversee the situation in areas affected by conflict and tension. I urge all responsible authorities to make the safety and well-being of civilians and soldiers a priority. A political position can be regained, but a Somali life cannot be brought back once it is lost. ❤️Let us fear Allah, protect Somali lives, and choose dialogue, reconciliation, and peace over conflict.
