Your analysis is spot on, in fact I would argue that cheap migrant labor is a form of slavery in which the slave accepts their circumstances even if the situation is not optimal. Additionally people who tend to argue for pro immigration/ open border policies tend to be either the beneficiaries or are not negatively affected by such a system. Which is why you'll find White ppl & the elite social classes arguing advocating for its preservation. Unfortunately your argument cuts both ways if we're being honest & the ethics behind whose bias benefits the most from this current iteration of capitalism are obfuscated by who gets to be exploited versus who gets to be left behind thus the lower classes will continue to fight amongst themselves for resources & opportunities. All these ethnocentric ideological debates are rooted in class warfare & we as Africans need to start being honest by interrogating why have we been so comfortable with the current status-quo?!

On governance and public policy changes? IFP and March & March are not the same type of organization, though? IFP had/has political power, which is what influence policy, law and business (the economy). I personally don't understand where you are coming from in that sense. I do understand the risk that comes with them working together.
