I requested to watch Girl Interrupted while in a mental hospital. They said no. 😭😂 Bipolar girlie here. That movie blew my mind in my youth and then to be hospitalized for the only time ever at the age of 40 after a hysterectomy (mania then psychosis a month after surgery) that movie was all I could think of. 😂🤷♀️

McLean is a campus thatd means there are different buildings with multiple units. So people could be there at the same time and get different levels of care. Also as a therapist I can tell you psych hospitals have changed a lot even in the last 10 years. So you could have had amazing care but things did change.
