the tanakh is literally just influenced by caananite, mesopotamian, persian and greek mythology. they went from stealing asphodel fields from the greeks (sheol to them) to stealing zoroastrian concepts of heaven/hell (Gehenna to them). the rabbi acting like its some cursed knowledge is hilarious. like buddy, abrahamic faith in general is just patch worked mythology from other regional powers 😂
