some people really just want to complain about Ada without actually having to play the games or try to understand her character or use their brains. fr some people just want to bitch and moan about it without providing any actual good reasons and just make things up... I love Resident Evil is it genuinely my favorite game franchise and I love a lot of your takes but the rest of the fandom genuinely pisses me off sometimes

in RE4 Leon is a 27 y.o. man that was gone through some freaking hella trainings w Krauser Ada knew (through information from organisation she was working with) how dangerous and strong Krauser truly is. The fact that president himself approved Leon to save his daughter is ENOUGH for her to understand how strong he actually become and that he can take care of himself. Ada isn’t his mom who needs to protect her child 24/7 stop babying Leon he is a grown man 😭

I don’t even like Leon at all, and I’m not super into Ada (she’s fun), but I have to spend SO MUCH TIME defending her and their relationship. Her haters have long entered delusional territory.

It’s funny bc in the OG RE4 files Ada respects and recognizes Leon’s ability to survive and his general badassery. You can tell she admires him for it. Something about those two people don’t recognize- they both trust in each others capability and ability to survive against all odds. She KNOWS he will be okay.
