I’ve done it! Loved every bit of it and didn’t regret it but the queueing part is 100% the hardest part. You get there and everyone is in their little groups and the little gremlin in your head is trying to convince u “you should go back. Your outfit is not nice. U will hate it. U look like a weirdo.” U stare at everyone and is panic mode in your brain 100%. Please don’t make the mistake I made the first time by keeping my AirPods trying to seem busy when queuing up! U miss on meeting people and engaging with everyone!

I just came back from my first solo festival it was honestly so much fun I just made friends with the people I was camped next to so we looked out for each other and I had a couple mutual friends camped elsewhere at the festival. It meant I could hang out with different groups when I wanted to and do things myself too and I didn’t miss any of the acts I wanted to see literally no compromising lol. There were a couple points I felt a little lonely but I texted/called my best mate back home and soon felt better again - deffo worth doing and you’ll be so proud of yourself!

I just done this a few weeks ago!! It’s quite daunting tbh when you initially walk in, and you have no one to actually warm up in it with. I found myself sitting on the side. I had a few drinks though, and then went out to dance and the night passed so quick!!!

What festival are you thinking of going? I always go Concerts by myself and really enjoy it better than the FOMO I get if I don’t go. The thought of it is so much scarier once your there it’s fine especially when you love the artist and everyone else is in their own world. I have really bad anxiety as well but it pushes me out my comfort zone and feel so good after like you’ve accomplished something😁
