This is true. Underfunded trauma ERs in hospitals do better than prestigious hospitals because people with fewer resources have to think outside the box and develop more skills. If you were shot in New Orleans before Katrina, you wanted to go to Charity bc of their trauma response reputation… but they closed that hospital and never reopened it. It sits empty today, 21 years later.

My Father who was born in 1939 whom had a bachelor's degree in education always said that desegregation was the worse thing that happened to blk ppl and as you can see over the decades our educational system and community has declined over the years since the 60s
