I remember in 1st grade a classmate of mines dad walked in from deployment. It made me emotional at the time and still does. Now I’m a military wife and can’t even fathom the fact that this is what my future children will endure. Beautiful but heartbreaking ❤️🩹

My dad is a retired Navy Seabee and everytime he came home from deployment was such a big thing. I still think back on those days as big deals in my life. He will remember this and any other time for the rest of his life. 🥰
