I think a lot of people think it’s just free money. And then they get the bill in the mail and realized that they can’t pay it. Also, they’re just not using it responsibly

This is so true! I have finally gotten to a point in my life that I have a rewards credit card that I use for most purchases, but I IMMEDIATELY pay it back using the app, after the purchase. It’s a double step process, but I am making actual cash back, which if used right, is free money. I also have that card set as my auto pay card for most of my bills as well, and keep track of how much is deducted each month, and pay it all back at in one payment. As opposed to having smaller payments coming out of my bank account at various times during the month. There was definitely a time that this would not have worked for me.
