I get why you’re defending it and I’m not saying that making yourself the protagonist of a story is inherently bad if someone wants to make a fictional story where they’re the main character, more power to them what makes this particular situation weird to me is the fact that the villains are based on real people the creator has had actual personal beef with i understand that he debates these people, so I can see why they’d end up being incorporated into the story, but there’s still something about making yourself the hero while turning people you’ve personally had conflicts with into villains that just feels really icky to me especially when we don’t know the full context yet if these characters are essentially recognizable versions of real people and then the story has them doing genuinely horrible or deplorable things, I think it’s completely fair to question the motivation behind that at that point, it can start feeling less like I’m writing a story inspired by people I know from my life and more like I’m creating a fictional world where I’m the hero and the people I dislike are the bad guys I get to defeat maybe there’s context that makes it less weird, and I’m perfectly willing to change my opinion if that’s the case I’m not saying King Lion is a narcissist or that the comic is objectively bad I’m just saying that, based on what i currently know, I personally find the idea of using real people you’ve had personal conflicts with as villains in a story where you’re the protagonist really weird

there's nothing inherently wrong with what kinglion is doing but it's strange to take people you argued with on the internet and turn them into villains in my opinion 🤔, again not saying it's wrong but it is odd

Frankly i get why he’s criticizing it but this isn’t new information. King lion has been writing this comic and i recommend going to watch starscreams vid. Also it’s just a healthy way to vent frustration.

Artist have made millions off of dissing each other in songs because of beef. Major corporations have made commercials dissing each other. Ts ain’t nun new and Lion has said that. If you’re gonna be mad at the concept then be mad at the entire concept. If you’re gonna specifically hate him for it, Then admit that and get on with your day, it’s simple.

Although I have my issues with how lion acts at times, as I said myself under Rex’s video, other then it being a little odd, and slightly hypocritical, it’s his comic, he can write whatever he wants, and using grammatical errors is also a nothing burger
