i dont think theres anything inherently wrong in wanting everything to magically, unrealistically, be okay, and for no one to have ever experienced discrimination of any kind at any point. obviously having that want shouldn’t prohibit people from taking what is really happening seriously, but wanting world peace and for everyone to be happy and safe and friendly is not wrong. i dont like that people are acting like its woke to be pessimistic, its really not.
