Re hand eczema, mine was contact dermatitis from cleaning supplies. This cream and avoiding the triggers is what cleared mine up.

Another eczema comment (sorry for the novels!!!!) - hand sanitizer and handwashing are huge triggers, but I refuse to sacrifice my hand hygiene, so I use the *one* hand soap that doesn’t trigger flares for me (Dove Sensitive Skin moisturizing hand wash; I’ll add a picture) and moisturize every single time afterward, even if it’s just a thin, quick-absorbing lotion. The Dove sensitive skin hand wash can be hard to find (the scented ones are everywhere, though) and it doesn’t seem to come in big refill bottles, which sucks, but it’s worth it to have to spend a bit extra and look a bit harder for it. A soap you don’t react to (or react minimally to) combined with moisturizing after every handwashing is key. If I have time for it to soak in, I’ll use a richer hand cream, but using a thinner, faster-absorbing lotion (like unscented Lubriderm or CeraVe in the pump bottle) after every handwashing makes a huge difference. As for hand sanitizer, I have to use plain Purell with no additives. Any fragrance is an absolute no-go. As soon as I can wash the sanitizer off my hands with soap and water and moisturize, I do, and that seems to help.

Literally meeee my hand excema is soo bad it’s never been like this and honestly I think all the dollar tree hand sanitizers triggered it!! Aquaphor and gloves overnight have been the only thing helping drastically.

I also deal with hand eczema. First thing that ever healed it completely was Youth to the people hand soap… that they discontinued 🫠 but skin fix eczema cream is good too for relief

I’ve tried a gazillion hand creams and this one is THE BEST. Unscented and when you wear it at night use cotton gloves. Saves me every friggin fall and winter. I also use it in the spring and summer, but a little less frequent.

Try using Marin hand cream, it’s made with glyco proteins that are derived from lobsters for their skin regenerative properties, it does amazing for eczema 👌

The only thing that helped my hand eczema was unfortunately dermatologist prescribed creams. Expensive up front but lasting me a long time and handy for flare ups!

My son has eczema and they make a cortisone 10 eczema cream you can get it at target and it worked wonders for him. We did every night a thick layer then jammies so you’d have to put gloves to keep it on and soak in but worked amazing. My sister uses beef tallow for my niece and does the same method and works really well for her too

I unfortunately totally feel you on the hand eczema. This will sound kind of weird, but in between applications of Rx topical steroids (which really try to limit using!!), I started layering moisture like I do on my face, using some inexpensive products or ones that didn’t work for my face. Currently I use the Byoma milky toner in the orange bottle, Cetaphil ceramide barrier repair serum, and lock them in with a thick hand cream (usually CeraVe in the tub bc that’s what I have right now, but I’ve also used Eucerin and LRP creams and both were good). Ideally I let it all soak in for ten or so minutes, then put on cotton gloves and go to bed. It seems to really help ease the painful cracking and itching.
