would love to see in a campaign the group gets to the bbeg. waits outside the room and long rests. bbeg comes out side sees everyone sleeping. flips a coin to decide what to do.

Fun story I’m still a newish player (been in my first campaign ever for a year and a half now) and toward the beginning I had this pretty gem, that was magical but I didn’t know how. We came across a sphinx inside a pyramid and it required a treasure from each of us to ask one question and receive a straight answer. I gave up my gem. I later learn that it was a Gem of Seeing and to this day my party teases me about it (in and out of character) because of all the times we could’ve used it. 😂 There are experienced players in my party that knew what it was, but we were separated in game and they didn’t want to meta game. 😅😂
