I would say the word is accountability / agency not focus bc with team sports, have more elements which requires more focus. Just bc u are not in control at that current moment does not mean that might not change in a split second in those sports.

I feel like there’s more pressure on tennis players (even in doubles matches) but there’s more focus required in basketball when you consider the coaches, refs, spacing the floor, minding the shotclock, trying to pull off the plays, keeping your head on a swivel on off or def, etc. It’s a tough debate styll

Basketball requires more concentration but tennis requires more focus. Its 1 on 1 and the target is just your opponent and a tennis ball. Whereas basketball has a lot more distractions and things to think about on over a long period of time.

Bro the ball comes at 175-200km/h (hwy 401mind you) that alone takes incredible focus. Not only to react but to hit it and make it not go outta bounds. That’s precision, focus,talent and exceptional hand-eye coordination, all while outside in the heat which can take up to 1hr minimum

It’s basketball or football for sure. There’s so many variables in what’s moving and where that thing or person is going. Even to the degree of studying. On the highest level you got to study plays, your plays, your teammates plays. Plus study film on other team and other player’s tendencies. Multiplied by the amount of players, and teams in your league.

Dolphins jersey I think you don’t know the word you’re trying to use. That’s trust you’re describing. It’s not focus. A tennis player has to be locked in the entire time. A qb literally sits down for half the game. Zoe is right and it’s not close.
