@selfcarewithcelyn: I would love to say I am one of those people who starts a weight loss journey and takes it so seriously that it never fails…but I’m not. You guys ask a lot how can I run a mile, how can I go to the gym or do anything I do and the truth is it’s not my first go around. I’ve started my journey multiple times. The first time around I lost 60lbs in 8 months and I couldn’t handle how much my body had changed and I gave up on everything I had been doing. I gave into my emotional eating and before you knew it I was right back at the beginning. I forgot the first time around how often I wanting to give up, how I always felt like I wasn’t losing anything, and just how long it actually took. This time around I threw away any sort of timeline. This journey has no timeline because it’s a lifestyle change. I have a goal weight, sure. But I learned the importance of me deciding to just want BETTER for myself. Have you fallen off the wagon before? If so, did you get back on and how’s it going? And if you have any success stories please let your girl know so I have some inspiration 😩🙏🏼 #plussize #weightlossjourney #losingweight #plussizefitness
Totally relatable! Last year I was my heaviest at 263.3lbs, I was drinking 3-4 cans of soda a day or even more lol. I got disgusted and wanted to drink water and then I ended up locking in.. I got all the way down to 225lbs. I had surgery and was down for a month and never went back to the gym and started my bad habits. I got back on the wagon June 1st of this year.. started at 256.8lbs and I’ve lost 14lbs since then. I go to the gym 5x a week and eat in a calorie deficit. I’m more determined than ever to stick with this, my mindset has completely changed this time around!

I’m on weight loss journey too I have only lost five pounds so far. I used to be down to losing 10 lbs but I went back to my old habits eating junk and not working out. I did lose a lot more than that in the past at one point I think back in 2024 I got down to 215 lbs I got a long journey! I’m thinking of going on glp 1 weight loss pill for 3 months to lose my first 30 lbs cus I gained so much weight I’m like 15 lbs away from being 300 lbs it’s going to atleast take me 8 months to get to 160 lbs but I got this! 🙌🏻
