I am 48 and sobbing because I didn’t know this was an option until recently. I was so determined to show up consistently for my kids in a way that I didn’t get that I have never been me till now. I was my mom’s caregiver and then my kids mom. And now I’m learning who is me apart from them. I love that younger women are inspiring me that I can do both. Thank you

Having an identity outside of being a mom is so healthy! You’ll be amazing. ♥️♥️♥️. People will try and guilt you into imbalance but don’t listen. Coming from someone in mental health, appreciation for who your children are is so amazing when you can separate them from yourself.
