Unfortunately shelters are mostly run off donations and not enough people care. This leads to over populated shelters that have no funds to care for them and no room to bring in new rescues. We need stricter laws, we need people in power to made real changes and enforce these changes. If breeders had stricter guidelines and regulations, there would be less backyard or accidental breeders. All animals should have to be spayed or neutered. Vets suggest that be done MUCH later than it's being done, which causes health risks. If breeders were responsible for taking caring of their animals until they are safe to fix then they wouldn't be breeding as often. People who aren't willing to put out the money aren't going to breed. That will weed out bad breeders. If breeders had to take back their own animals, that would cause them to do better at choosing homes. Eventually all the backyard/accidental breeders would run out of animals to breed. There should also be penalties for anyone who doesn't have the license and insurance to breed. We need our government to create laws, period. Or the needless animal killings will continue and even get worse.

Dear lord, I ask that you send your angels to save this/these sweet babies. Give them the strength and wisdom to care and love this/these babies as they were meant. May they never again feel fear, hunger, sadness or loneliness. May they live the longest, healthiest, happiest life they can. All animals are innocent, helpless creatures who deserves our love and respect. No animal should ever have to feel pain or sadness. If you are not willing to care for your fur babies for the rest of your life, no matter what happened, then please do not get a pet. Their bond with you is forever and will devastated them if broken.
