I'm in SC, on a single income and I pay $1844/mo mortgage for a 2022 built 3bdrm 2ba house on a single acre in a neighborhood and I feel comfortable paying that on my own with what I make. Now, my parents they pay like $560/mo in mortgage for a home they bought almost 21 years ago lol we'll never see that again. 😂

$3735 Bay Area California I’ve paid more for less and less for more. But I can drive 20minutes to an hour in any direction and be somewhere completely different snow beach redwoods valley. I’d pay whatever I had to for the security my kids have.

$2347.25 renting a 3bdrm upper suite of a house, utilities are included. It’s in Peterborough Ontario Canada. I’m single and have two children 50/50 co-parenting and it’s hard doing it alone! I do have a decent backyard but the location is not great and has only gotten worse. (Downstairs tenant had her well hidden bike stolen out of our backyard last week!)
