I think Disney should make it easier for cast members and security to revoke people’s scooters. It’s only a matter of time till someone hits a toddler or breaks someone’s foot while doing this

It’s gotten so bad within the last 5-6 years. In 2020 we were able to rent a scooter for my mom midday. Now? We can’t even rent a scooter at 9am. Now, we just rent ahead of time to the place across the street and take it to the hotel.

I don’t necessarily care if people rent scooters who look like they don’t need them bc there’s invisible illnesses, it’s the scooting in circles around people who are trying to walk down the path without being run over by a scooter

It’s funny how Disney made it incredibly difficult for people with genuine disabilities to qualify for DAS, yet anyone can rent a scooter. I understand that walking around Disney all day is exhausting, but scooters should be for people who truly need them. If you have a disability and you’re enjoying yourself without disrupting or endangering other guests, then have fun that’s what Disney is all about.
