@lady.sourdough: Do I need a tiny mic?🤔 3 things that have changed the game for my Micro bakery located in Bend, Oregon. 1) Hero Products: Personally, I can’t handle offering a ton of different products, I make more profit by focusing on making a lot of a few items very well. I have found giving my customers less to choose from actually helped with decision making and having a unique product (like my English muffins) was also great for gaining return customers because not everyone offers them. 2) Use social media that is best known for local reach (t ik tock.) This platform is especially great at reaching out to other locals in the area. Let the algorithm know you are trying to reach locals by using the add location feature, and use key words like city and state in the caption, text on screen, and verbally in the video if you are speaking. Also use common local hashtags in your area. 3) Capture customer info to keep them up to date. I use Hotplate (referral link to join in my bio.) Not only is it great for making pop up events, bread drops and taking pre-orders but it also allows customers to sign up for text and email notifications so you can easily communicate with them by sending out notification blasts. Keep them updated on need to know info. This helps you so you aren’t only relying on the algorithm to keep customers notifications. This is direct communication.
