@backwoods.bound.photos: While walking down to a river, I kept hearing a loud chirping sound coming from a thick area of trees. I played it off thinking it was probably just a bird. But as I was getting ready to leave, I finally saw that it was an American Red Squirrel. I quickly got my camera out and got set up, and watched as it ate a small berry. It then moved on to a few different trees before climbing up this tall dead tree and screaming out at the top. It was either alerting or talking to its companion that was on the other side of me. They started talking back and forth, and it was pretty fun to listen to since they make such a silly noise. I didn’t bother them much longer as a storm was approaching, but I was still happy to get a few photos and this funny photo. The photo didn’t turn out the best since it was a little far away, but I still thought the moment was pretty funny. #wildlife #squirrel #wildlifephotography #photography #nature
