It’s also just that homophobia is different toward both genders. The reason why most str8 men have no problem dating bisexual women is because queer women aren’t treated as less of a woman in the same way that queer men are. str8 women won’t date a bisexual man is because they see him as less of man, or automatically less masculine. Queer women do experience homophobia too but it tends to look differently with fetishization and invalidating their relationships where as with men they are often more treated inferior to other men and like their sexuality is an embarrassment.
