carriers don't refuel & replenish only by going to shore. they do at sea replenishment 90% of the time from supply ships

The base was hit with a few muscles but that doesn't mean it was blown up. It is still operating. Resupply doesn't in most cases come from that base. It comes from supply ships and in other cases from vertreps(aircraft). They are beingresupplied
