They did the same thing with the small black owned business that provides the uniforms for the blue angels. They’ve had the contract for over 20 years and it’s only cost the US government under $300,000 a year to provide those uniforms. Hegseth fired her and gave the contract to some corporation that is going to charge over $1 billion for the same uniforms. Corruption corruption, you know where all that extra money is going right into the pockets of Pete Hegseth, and all the other Trump cabinet members.

you don't understand as a civilian the supreme importance of stars and Stripes. Let me give an example; in 2004 I'm fighting a war in Tikrit Iraq. I'd been selected for providing a Ford operating base perimeter security and internal security and firefighting… I was the sheriff… And the unit that I was from had an egotistical power monger bucking for General and like our current fascist administration corrupted the entire unit such that out of 111 souls he was going to give out "52 bronze stars". Of which exactly one was going to be going to an enlisted soldier. That's what officers do in fact they do it so well that they don't even give the same award to an enlisted they give to an officer because we don't deserve it! In any case, that Colonel had tried to arrest me four times which was hysterical because I was a military police officer and he was a moron that got people killed so I wrote an editorial to stars and stripes in combat and the Military stripped his idea of 52 bronze stars down to eight. I received a complete retaliatory evaluation and they were shocked that I couldn't give a shit. Didn't matter. Forever I will know I did the right thing and they were just evil corruption in a military uniform. You take away Stars & Stripes you take away the last breath of the soldier on the line at the tip of the spear with bullets flying and mortars coming in. That's what the secretary of defense just did to my brothers and sisters
