@scotpilie_wx: HAWAII TROPICS WATCH🌀 Invest 90-E, located east-southeast of Hawaii, continues to become better organized and now has a 90% chance of tropical development over the next 48 hours. A tropical depression or tropical storm could form within the next day or two as the system moves west to west-northwest at 10–15 mph into the Central Pacific. If it becomes a named storm, it will be called #Moke. Forecast models generally take the system just south of the Hawaiian Islands on a path similar to Lala, with strengthening into a hurricane possible. However, uncertainty remains regarding its exact track, intensity and potential island impacts. Hawaii residents and visitors should monitor forecast updates closely!
