NO HATE TO ANY OF THE QUINTS 1)Miku, obviously. Best character development, perfect wife material, fumbled at the end saying “I love you” to Futaro, but shortly after admitted to pointing at her sisters, so she lost. She cares about Futaro the most imo, has the most qualities, and is represented best by the community. She’s objectively the fan favorite, even if she isn’t for everyone. Also the most respectful imo. 2)Itsuki. I could see Futaro choosing her, even if she’s a perfect friend more than a perfect wife. Kind, funny, maybe could’ve won if she realized her feelings earlier. Even if all she did was eat, the romantic buildup was kinda there. She showed subtle signs, just not enough, which made her fumble. She focuses more on her sisters than Futaro. 3)Ichika. Top 2 in S1 but fell off in S2. She messed up badly once and apologized, but Futaro choosing her would still be a no. She’s too much of a dommy mommy and wouldn’t really make a good wife imo. She’s too weird to me, and her competitiveness makes her love for Futaro unhealthy. 4)Yotsuba. She deserved the win only for the early access imo. She makes a good wife, but she’s too childish and the character development just isn’t there. She wasn’t even an option to me. I think Miku has a very strong chance of winning if she were the Kyoto girl, because Futaro’s connection to Rena was a foundation of his romantic feelings. Obviously, changing Rena’s identity creates a butterfly effect, so we can’t know if the story would play out the same, and don’t say I’m wrong because I’m not. Her lack of romantic buildup is why I don’t think she should’ve even been an option. Like come on, she did almost nothing except basketball and running. Yotsuba has character development, but not enough visible romantic development with Futaro to justify winning. Even though I prefer her over Nino, she was the worst option imo. 5)Nino was THE WORST in S1, also S2, but she became nicer and easier to like. Not for me tho. Character development was peak, romantic buildup was nice, but she’s a tsundere. Tsunderes IRL don’t make good wives. She drugged Futaro twice and never apologized, is too full of herself.
