In Acts 16:30 the question was asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”, and what was the answer?
• Test #1:
V31: So they said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved, you and your household.”
• Test #2:
V31: So they said, "B̵e̵l̵i̵e̵v̵e̵ o̵n̵ t̵h̵e̵ L̵o̵r̵d̵ J̵e̵s̵u̵s̵ C̵h̵r̵i̵s̵t̵ 𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘯 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘴 and you will be saved, you and your household.”

• The Answer is Test #1 and repent of your sins was 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 mentioned, neither is it mentioned at all in the Gospel of John, and John was written so the reader could be saved (John 20:31)
• Repent means to change your mind, the context of the verse tells us what we are to change our mind about
• Turning from sin is a good thing, but that is not the definition of repentance, that is something a Christian should do after they are saved, not how to be saved
• Turning from your sins won't save you because "God requires that which is past"
