🦋 Hello, hello! It’s Black Rose again! This is a short video about the double vowel in the language of Hmong in the dialect of Mong Leng. It’s going to help you understand and remember the sound of the vowel that is at the end of the word to help you read and write in Mong Leng. 🦋 Please remember that the Mong Leng language is a tonal language. A tone marker appears at the end of the word creating a special sound. In the Hmong writing all words do not write as compound words that makes the writing unique. 🌸So read the fiction story below to find out what sound “ee” made. 🌸Vowel: ee 🦋 These words have no ending tone Consonant +vowel= word ee, words: qee, to save; Nkauj See, lady with soft voice and kind; Nkauj Ntxhee, lady with fine soft hair 🦋 Ib zaaj keeb kwm Mong Leng sau txug ob tug mi ntxhais ntxaib. Muaj ib tsev neeg muaj muaj moo tau tau zoo. Leej nam leej txiv mas tseem tau ib khub mi ntxhais nkauj ntxawm heev le hab. Ob tug mi ntxhais muaj ob xyoos nrug rua ob lub npe los tseem muab tis sib sib xws le hab. Ib tug hu ua Nkauj See huas ib tug hu ua Nkauj Ntxhee. Thaum twg leej nam leej txiv hu ob tug lug noj mov mas hu hu ob tug tsi paub has sov yog hu leej twg le. Vim ob tug mi ntxhais yeej tsi noog tau ob tug ob lub npe le. Ces ob tug rau rau sab ua si tsi lug noj mov le. Mas sag twg sag twg los leej nam yeej tau qee zaub mov rua ob tug taag le xwb. Leej nam mas laaj qee zaub mov tag tag le os. 🦋 A story in English about two twin girls whose names are rhymed Gao Sheng (Nkauj See) and Gao Ching (Nkauj Ntxhee) that are rhymed. There was a great happy family with the parents that were so lucky. The parents are even so lucky to have a set of twins of girls who are two years old. Their girls’ names rhyme, too. So every time the parents call them for meal time, it is hard for the two years to grasp their names, so they just keep on playing. Then the mother would always save the girls food, so that made the mother very tired. 🌺 Thanks for learning Mong Leng with me! Have a happy day!
