I HATE when people I'm not close to touch me, especially when I can tell they're just reaching out and touching my arm or something to try and "hack" me into trusting them. Sales people and religious people do this all the time, possibly without realizing why. Even when people I do know touch me without consent, I will lose my shit! But I LOVE touching people I know closely. 🥰

I was about 16 and realized that I couldn't remember the last time I had felt someone's touch. It was an ache I'll never forget. Now, I never let go of a hug first because you never know who really needs it.

Honestly, whenever anyone talks about this type of thing I have a visceral ick reaction. It so often feels like me and people like me are increasingly forgotten about. From my perspective the physical contact going down means my world is getting better!
