So this guy or someone he knows put their information for a free sweepstakes thing, which is how marketing agencies get leads. They go through a path and answer questions like what type of lawn do you like, or what hair care products do you use. Then the marketing path sells that lead to an agency supplying that lead to you. It’s legal but can be abused. But either way don’t change who you’re working with for that. Angi’s list does the same thing.
