I called a few times but the last one they sent a mobile unit to me and I had to go to the er against my will because they wanted to have me involuntarily committed if I didn’t! When I didn’t have insurance and money was stressing me out! I never want to call them again!

I worked as a crisis text responder and had to step away from how intense and taxing the work is—and I’m in public health with interest in social work. Unpaid and voluntary, it’s no wonder they can’t keep those outside the industry, let alone any volunteer
