In Canada we have teachers aids (TA), specifically for this reason. And some special needs children have their own TA, when required.

As someone with that kid…I assure you that his teacher can ask me for a bottle of wine, cases of redbull, weed - whatever she wants and I’m doing my best to provide it. Haha yes, he has an IEP, therapy, etc. but I’ve met my kid - I get it.

as a special ed teacher i wish someone would do this for me and others. teachers don’t get as much love as were should. i pray your babies their teachers and the other babies in their school have a blessed and meaningful year!

the problem is parental support with these kids. my son has an IEP and has a special ed teacher that follows him to his cor classes to support the Gen Ed teacher when they are teaching the whole class. I get a call im in the school in 5 minutes to figure out what happened why it happened and what we as a team the teacher and i can do to prevent it from happening again. im am open honest and very supportive of all the teachers. if hes having issues call me because no one but mom knows how to help their kid better then momma does. but parents and im not saying all parents remove themselves from their child's education and tell the teachers to figure it out when 99% of the time the behaviors are learned behaviors from home which means until home changes the behaviors will continue but people dont like to hear that they are the problem

definitely in high school, I went to highschool with some people that acted like they didn't know how to do stuff when we have been in that class for almost a whole year but somehow was on any sports team. I wish our teachers are treated a lot better.

I’m a special education preschool teacher and they love to give the two of us in our room 13 kids with decently high needs and be like good luck and make sure they know all the same things at an unreachable level or it’s your ass. 😩 we’re trying man! I love your take! 🖤

Man teachers are teachers, therapist, police officers, babysitter, a clown, a comedian, and much more well trying to keep 25-30 kids alive and interested. Not to mention how they get treated by some parents. I have so much respect for the teachers and I do not understand how they have the patience

I dont want to teach for this exact reason, I love tutoring kids, I helped kids with homework when I worked at an after school place. I had to watch 40 kids at the same time and I just couldnt do it anymore. I love your little baskets so much, I just know they'll love it! hope your kids have a great school year!
