@dontdrinkanddiy: DIY Outdoor Shower Part 3: Didn’t have a ton of time tonight to work on it, but got more done than I expected! #DIY #outdoorshower #backyardmakeover #ideas #series
in most states if you use any soap in an outdoor shower it becomes gray water and needs a septic or sewer hook up

All the know it all’s in the comments are comical. I have an outdoor shower. Best thing we ever built. It doesn’t stink, and no one cares that we have it. lol

Should you have built the floor and ran the drainage before building the shed?

The floor drain and concrete should have been installed first and foremost.

I put one in when I set my hot tub up, just to rinse any chlorine off. It's so great I use it every day as long as weather cooperates. No tiny stall to bump arms into and just being outside is great.

I'd only be worried about a tree limb pulling the power line into my shower. as for the build everything looks good and you can do the drain and concrete last it's done all the time some folks can be anal about the way they LIKE to do THEIR jobs

So is the plan to just have a mid pit underneath it and allow all the drain water to seep into the basement window adjacent to it? Good plan 👍🙄

I used 4”x16” cement pads at work for my floors & spaced it out about an inch & filled with gravel the spaces . I work animal rescue & we built one to bath the doggies at work . It drains great & we r never in standing water .

You should put in center brace boards , going to have pep holes in about 6 months once sun dries out those pickets, but cool idea I may steal the concept
