No, you could not be more wrong. Most Democrats are fed up because Democratic politicians won’t even stand up and fight. There’s not much they can do right now, but other than Gavin Newsom, and John off a little bit, no one is willing to go to the gun fight with anything more than a butter knife. Also, Clinton and Harris, both moderates, lost to an unbelievably horrible candidate. That shows that moderates can’t win the most important race, the presidency.

I’m a moderate from New York and what’s really kind of ironic is that the moderate side of the party actually has more in common with Republicans than we do the far left side of the party. And that’s an unpopular opinion that nobody really wants to talk about or even go near.

I’ve never voted Democrat, but I really do try to consider all sides of an argument. Every time I do consider voting for the left, the extreme left scares me and I end up going right, even though I hate the extreme right as well. The last few elections I’ve voted against something rather than for something, if that makes any sense.

I think this is the natural evolution of the message Democrats have been pushing for years: free healthcare, sanctuary policies, taxing the “evil rich,” and constantly portraying corporations and wealthy people as the enemy. Then someone comes along, actually believes that rhetoric, takes it to its logical conclusion, and runs on it—and suddenly everyone acts surprised. You spent years fueling anger toward Trump, the wealthy, and corporations. You helped radicalize your own base. You did this.
