If you’re brushing/combing CORRECTLY.. you shouldn’t have to do it often and that’s what the matted dog owners don’t understand lol. Like if you take the time to do it right you really only need to do it once every week-two weeks (depending on length of hair and current bathing schedule).

I rarely rush out my Poodles in between baths but I do bathe frequently. I'm of the belief that "if they need to be brushed then they need to be bathed." I often blow out between baths if they look too raggedy or it's rainy.

mine doesnt usually get brushed unless he rlly needs it (like theres mud or after a bath) but every few months he gets groomed so we dont worry about it
