#1 vs #352, same 165 kg hex bar deadlift, 18 months apart When you hit a new personal best, it rarely looks perfect. Your body is still learning how to handle the load: the bracing, the tension, the coordination. But when you stay consistent, that once ugly PB starts to move smoother, faster, and stronger. The first clip in this video was filmed on 24 April 2024, the day I lifted 165 kg for the very first time. The last three reps were filmed on 19 October 2025, and they’re reps #350–352 I deadlift roughly once per week, give or take, and across that time I’ve trained it about 72 sessions (77 but maybe I missed five). Most weeks I worked in the 2-5 rep range, sometimes heavier, sometimes lighter, but 165 kg kept showing up. When you multiply that across all those sessions, that’s roughly 350+ reps with this weight alone. Obviously these calculations are very rough, but that’s not the point. That’s 350+ chances to refine my setup, fix my breathing, tighten my grip, brace better, and trust my body to do the work. Progress isn’t about chasing new numbers every week. It’s about mastering what once terrified you…turning your PB into a warm up. Keep showing up. The reps always add up💪🏻 #womenwholift #oneractive
