![This is just my thought process and how I arrived at being Muslim from Christian. Here is some back info for what I’m talking about, and a reminder that none of God’s prophets were in any way shape or form white, American, or English speakers. When we discuss these things we need to remember everything we are reading today is being translated from their original state for us to consume (especially if you’re American)— even the Bible. The word Muhammad translates in English to “praiseworthy.” The word Ahmad/Ahmed (spelling in English can be whatever) translates to “highly praised.” Ahmad is a variation of Muhammad. Isaiah 42 in the Bible says: 1. “Behold! My Servant, Ahmad (whom I uphold); My Elect One, in whom My soul delights! I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the Gentiles. 2. He shall not cry out, nor raise His voice, nor cause His voice to be heard in the street. 3. A bruised reed shall He not break, and smoking flax shall He not quench. In truth He shall bring forth justice. 4. He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till He has established justice in the earth; and the islands shall wait for His law.” — [Isaiah 42:1-4] Who was this verse referring to if not Muhammad ﷺ?
