@pawsitiveinfluenc: Yes, Duke is still at the shelter. 💔 Yes, he’s stressed. Yes, he may hiss or growl. But can you blame him? Duke came to the shelter from a suspected cruelty situation, and the shelter hasn’t exactly been the easiest place for him to learn that people can be kind. He’s scared. He’s overwhelmed. And he’s been stuck in a kennel for months. He doesn’t need people to judge him by his worst moments. He needs someone willing to give him a chance outside of that kennel. Please visit Dallas Animal Services and ask about fostering or adopting Duke. He deserves to know what kindness feels like. 🥺🐾
