There will NEVER be an objective best media in fiction. sure we can debate quality of writing 100%. but there will NEVER be a series thats OBJECTIVELY the greatest series. it may very well be your own PERSONAL favorite. but claiming it as an objective best is actually stupid.

I really do mourn what mediatok could’ve been because we could’ve been seeing people share their own interpretations on different stories & seeing different types analysis on different medias😭 but no, it feels more like people are competing to see who can like the ‘nichest’ and ‘deepest’ media, it also deeply annoys how much mediatok acts symbolism (even when it doesn’t make sense) is what makes a story so good when that’s not what does. Far to many people think themes & metaphors automatically make a story good, it just mad pretentious for no reason and 9/10 THEY don’t even understand the media they are consuming.
