im lucky, our apartment still has one of them chain locks at the top. the door can open but he definitely can't get out (I tested this while watching of course). cat might get out but it wouldnt be the first time 😂

Bough some off Amazon, is adult and baby proof😭. It’s Also hella sturdy cause maintenance of someone tried coming inside and the like wood part where we placed it was breaking from the top and the door was still standing

This happened to me. I went to the bathroom and when I came back, my son was standing at the front door with it wide open looking out. Luckily we live in an apartment so he wasn’t near a street. But a lock went on immediately. It takes 5 seconds

lmfao, we bought those exact latches after we were sleeping one day and heard the back door creaking and jumped up to see our son letting himself outside to go play 🤣🤣
