Hotd has ruined the conflict so badly people can’t tell the deer appearing was purposely ambiguous and not obvious support for Rhaenyra. It appeared in front of her and Cole (kingmaker) on Aegon II’s name day. This can be interpreted by either faction as support. A huge part of George’s writing is how symbols and prophecy have a habit of being influential while not actually amounting to anything. It’s all used to justify what the characters want for themselves.
