But somehow, his heart still listens. He stays by the door, eyes wide and patient, waiting for me to walk in. It’s like he can feel when I’m close, like he’s learned to listen with his soul instead of his ears. There’s something so special — and so tender — about the way dogs love. Even when their senses fade, their devotion doesn’t. He doesn’t need sound to recognize me. He just knows. 🐾 Sometimes I pause outside for a moment, just to peek through the window and see him sitting there — waiting, loyal as ever, tail twitching with hope. My dog can’t hear and see. Basically no communication daily since she is sleeping most of her time. Sad to see last few years of her life one after another illnesses conquered her.
